Website Mad 4 Recruitment Ltd

As a result of the pandemic, many of the children within the UK are now behind on their education due to lack of available support, lack of access and lack of suitable working environments whilst trying to keep up with schoolwork from home. The Government has therefore released catch up funding to help support these individuals and help them catch up on their education.

Schools are using this funding when schools reopen to pay for additional staff within schools to help these children and provide the additional support, they require to bring them up to speed and get their education back on track.

We are therefore recruiting Teaching Assistants for these roles. We are looking for people with a strong work ethic, great communication skills, patience and the ability to tailor support to different children.

The work will likely see any candidate working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (mild – severe), so good knowledge and experience with SEN/SEND is preferred.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in a professional environment.
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (preferred).
  • Great communication skills.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude towards tasks and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to form great relationships with staff and pupils.

In return, the successful Teaching Assistant will receive:

  • A great rate of pay.
  • A dedicated consultant to support you.
  • Fantastic opportunities for long term/permanent work.
  • Flexible work that revolves around your availability.

All successful applicants will be required to attend an interview to undergo relevant safeguarding checks, including a full application form and an enhanced DBS check.
